Did you know that 1 in 3 women has experienced domestic violence in their lifetime? Since we opened our doors, our Muslim-led Domestic Violence Shelter has remained at full capacity, providing survivors and their children the warmth and safety of a home.
Our shelter in North Carolina is a safe space where women from all walks of life, regardless of their faith or background, find solace and the strength to heal.

Empower Survivors with a Monthly Gift
Cover One Month of Bus Tickets • $40/month
Your generous monthly gift can help provide two weeks of bus tickets for a survivor to find work and begin to earn income.
Provide Mental Health Support • $75/month
Your generous gift will directly fund trauma-informed services and mental health support for survivors seeking care at our Domestic Violence Shelter.
Provide Healthy Food for One Month • $100/month
Your generous monthly gift can provide sustenance and nourishment by helping provide the shelter pantry with healthy food for one month.

Within the walls of our shelter, we witness the incredible transformation of lives. Our staff, volunteers, and donors have joined hands to create a supportive community, offering not just shelter, but a home. We provide counseling, legal assistance, job training, and access to education – tools that empower survivors to craft new beginnings and break free from the chains of abuse.
