Meet The Team

Maleeha is a marketing and communications professional with several years of non-profit experience working with organizations that provide wraparound support services for women and children in the DC-MD-VA area. A graduate of George Mason University’s Health Administration and Policy program with a minor in Public Health, Maleeha is an advocate for marginalized communities all over the world and seeks to use her talent and creativity to highlight those stories and be an agent of change. Her goal is to be a part of the generation that breaks the cycle of socioeconomic disparities and bridges the gap between vulnerable populations and access to resources and opportunities. Maleeha’s passion for working with mission-driven organizations led her to Penny Appeal, where she supports the creation and execution of the marketing program and strategy. Outside of work, Maleeha is an artist and Arabic calligrapher, and most weekends you can find her teaching art workshops in her community.
