Your Zakat Al-Fitr Spreads Joy
Bring the joy of Eid Al-Fitr to families around the world by paying Zakat Al-Fitr with Penny Appeal USA! Zakat Al-Fitr is $12 per family Member and fitrana is due on every member of a household, including any children or elderly persons, before Eid prayer.
Give Fidyah and Kaffarah
Your Fidyah and Kaffarah can help provide nutritious meals to families in need around the world from Palestine to Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, and South Africa. If fasts are broken without allowable reasons, and the compensatory two months of fasting is not possible, then give Kaffarah. Fidyah is for fasts missed through ill health or pregnancy, which cannot be made up afterwards for legitimate reasons.

How does Penny Appeal USA determine the percentage of funds allocated to overhead costs each year?

Do you have corporate matching? If so, what is the process?
Can I donate crypto?
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept crypto donations, however this is something we’re working on.
Do you accept clothing donations?
While we deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness behind clothing donations, Penny Appeal USA does not accept physical items, including clothing. Our approach is centered around monetary donations, allowing us to maximize the impact by directing funds to program focuses identified in communities in need in a more timely fashion.
Do you offer direct social assistance?
Penny Appeal USA primarily focuses on implementing sustainable projects and programs to create long-term impact. We do not offer direct social assistance in the form of cash transfers or individual financial aid. Instead, we channel donations into carefully planned initiatives that aim to uplift entire communities, providing them with lasting solutions to improve their quality of life.
