Hurricane Dorian made landfall this past Sunday afternoon in the Bahamas
The Hurricane has caused catastrophic damage; from destroying homes, crushing people, and causing major power outages to contaminating essential water sources. While a complete picture of the damage is not available yet, it’s clear the storm is dealing a devastating blow to thousands of families on the islands.

Penny Appeal USA is working with partners to deploy a team to the ground within the next 24 hours. We are flying in relief supplies such as tarps, hygiene items and solar lights. We are also flying in essential non-perishable food items. We will also be deploying water purification units to provide clean drinking water.
over 1,200 Family Emergency kits

After packing 1,200 family emergency packs of food, water-sanitation units, and hygiene kits, they were successfully delivered to our emergency team on the ground in the Bahamas where they worked with GlobalMedic teams to set up and run water filtration stations to give people clean water and distribute other aid.
