Meet The Team

Serene Christian joined Penny Appeal in 2021 as a Donor Relations Specialist during Ramadan and rejoined in early 2022 as the Donor Relations Manager. Serene strives to be a champion of donor education and advocacy. She has decades of service-oriented experience in education, retail, and non-profit sectors, including many years working with relief organizations. Her wish is for humanity to have freedom from hardship. Serene is interested in cultural studies and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology.

Serene enjoys learning about wellness, taking daily walks, foraging, and has an obsession with making and curating beautiful/fascinating objects of all kinds.
