Mostafa Mahboob
Chief Development Officer
Mostafa has been working in the nonprofit sector since 2003. He was previously the Sr. Development Manager at CAIR-LA for more than seven years. He led the organization’s efforts in creating new institutional funding opportunities and building on a strong grassroots community support base. He also served as the Communications Manager for Islamic Relief USA and was with the organization for seven years. As part of his responsibilities at IR USA, he led the relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina, where the organization assisted more than 60,000 people across three states.
