Mariya has worked in the nonprofit sector for over thirteen years, with extensive experience in leadership, marketing, and communications. She started her career in finance, held various positions in the nonprofit space, and grew into the role of Chief Marketing Officer at the previous non-profit organization.
Mariya is a certified Project Management Professional, with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. She has recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University – Lilly School of Philanthropy. Her background sets her up to lead diverse teams, develop an integrated, multi-channel digital marketing and communications strategy that maximizes brand awareness, donor acquisition, retention; with a focus on short and long-term revenue generation.
Mariya enjoys traveling and experiencing the outdoors with her family.
